The Parable of the Wandering Sheep

Matthew 18

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.

Oh, the heart of our incredible Father above… I love verse 14… “In the same way YOUR father in heaven is not willing that ANY of these little ones should perish.”

Beautiful!!

God has waited patiently for us to get it… His Love…...

Mystery is an Invitation for Intimacy

Mystery Is an Invitation for Intimacy!

God does not hide things from us, He hides things FOR us…

Come on, that’s good, let me say it again..

GOD does not hide things From us, HE hides things FOR us!!!

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of Kings is to search things out!

We are the Kings that God is referring to in this passage, we are the inheritance of the Kingdom of God. God’s heart is that we would live a life fully in His kingdom!! that means we get to get up everyday and search for the “treasures” He has for us in each day!!

That is so amazing!!! I mean think about it, every day you get up you can EXPECT to find treasures in the day or to use another word to explain it would be blessings in the day.

I love the challenge of seeking to find, it takes action, YOU seek and the reward is the hidden treasure...

Bourbon Streetā€¦ Jesus, Risk, and A boy on the Street!

Uncategorized May 15, 2018

Just came back from an awards trip in New Orleans with my company and was reflecting on our time away. It was an amazing time with friends, sight-seeing, resting and taking in the culture.

One of our nights we ended up walking down Bourbon Street and even before we went, I had some apprehension as to what we might see or what might happen while being there.

Being in a group, we just kind of went along with everyone and so as we got closer I began to pray for covering over Trevor and me.

Not knowing what to expect, and only hearing about the street it was amazing as we stepped into this very narrow street that carried so much fame.

It smelled like you would expect, warm urine and stale beer is the best description that I can verbalize. As we walked down the street, people were throwing down beads from above and prompting...

Judgment Day

Acts 3:19-21 English Standard Version (ESV)

19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, 20 that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, 21 whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.

We have been studying John Brevere’s book Driven by Eternity with our group this season and he writes a God inspirited story about judgement day and what that will look like.

Scriptures tell us Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. However God has also already given us the direction for entrance to His kingdom in the scriptures.  Our journey is to read, learn understand and align our lives in partnership with eternity.

We have made God out to be loving, kind, merciful, accepting, and all though He is...

Be Still and Know that I am Godā€¦

Uncategorized May 01, 2018

Today as I sat in the prayer room for a bit, I kept hearing the Lord say “Be Still and Know that I am God.”   One of my favorite places to escape from everything and “Be Still” is in one of the prayer rooms where I can just snuggle into a couch, have I-hop or Bethel-TV worshiping in the back ground and just close my eyes and BE… Sometimes I feel guilty like I should be having this long drawn out conversation with the Lord, after all I am a chatty girl, but then the peace comes over me that I can just BE in His presence and it fills me up full.  One time I even fell asleep and when I woke up for a moment had that panic that I was just caught drooling on my desk in a classroom English class.  Then I had to giggle because I was SOOOO refreshed, and felt like I had laid in the very arms of the Lord as I...

Three ways to grow deeper in your intimacy with God

Three ways to grow deeper in your intimacy with God

I often hear people that say “I can’t hear God.” or “God does not speak to me like He does you.” Scripture tells us that we all can hear the voice of God.  John 10:27 says “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  I believe we just get distracted with business and fail to be still and know that He is God. The enemy’s whole intent is to separate us from God and so he will try to seed lies that we are incapable or unworthy of hearing the voice of God. This is why we must align our thinking and our mind with the mind of Christ.  Intimacy in any relationship takes intentionality, time and communication.

So Here are 3 easy steps to grow deeper in your intimacy with God

  1. Worship – Worship intentionally aligns our heart with the heart of the...

5 Steps to Becoming a Great Leader

Uncategorized Apr 17, 2018

Leadership

Hebrews 13:17

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

I’ve been in leadership for over 20 years and it has been mostly wonderful and sometimes a frustrating journey of events.

Learning to be a good leader starts with being a good follower.

Early in my years of business and working under individuals, I always wanted to be a blessing to those that would employ me. I mean think about it, someone is choosing to invest in you by allowing you to be on their payroll. Now that is favor, because employers, owners, bosses have choices, and you should count it a blessing to be chosen.

Now along with that comes your role in being an honorable student of your leader. It’s always funny as I see over and over again entitlement issues with individuals believing they “Deserve” to...

In biblical times, a mantel was created as a large shield (sometimes portable) used to deflect stones, spears, and arrows. (Nahum 2)

So, how can you create a mantel that will deflect the arrows [affliction] that come at you and your home? Deuteronomy 6:9 & 11:20 says “You shall write them [the Lord’s word] on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (AMP)

Your mantel can be your mantle {your covering}.

Creatively Living - Creating A Command Center

**********

Are there areas in your life where you need to create a command center? What controls you? What is messy and distracting you from doing what is important?

Matthew 13:22-23 (TPT) says “The seed sown among weeds represents the person who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the kingdom message and prevent him from bearing spiritual fruit.

As for the seed that fell upon good, rich soil, it represents the hearts of people who hear and fully embrace the message of heaven’s kingdom realm. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much...

Genesis 1:14 (AMP) says "Then God said, “Let there be light-bearers (sun, moon, stars) in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be useful for signs, and for marking seasons, days, and years."

When I say "I love this seasons", I'm not just referring to "season" in terms of weather, but the "season" where I thoroughly enjoy nature and being outside.  What other ways do you view the word "season"?

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (AMP) says "There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven".
